Amy Hunley co-founded a company called Drape98 in 2006 which primarily focused on turn key drapery service in the southeast. This endeavor was greatly successful leading to continual growth in the industry as well as award recognition among industry professionals. Amy resides in Atlanta and first had the idea of starting a drapery company because of personal frustration with area workrooms. As a result, she started creating treatments for herself with local seamstresses and vendors and developing a turnkey custom drapery program that quickly became popular among designers and homeowners. In 2011 Amy led the D98 team in opening a new, custom workroom in the Atlanta area where she and a skilled team of professionals built a reputation among top designers and discriminating homeowners for providing the best quality custom treatments backed by superior customer service. This year (2020), Amy decided it was time for a step out on her own. Separating from the Drape98 partnership while keeping the trusted workroom and staff- Amy has proceeded with production improvements, new product choices along with a renewed focus on “boutique” customer service by expanding and opening The Drapery Room.

The Drapery Room,(formally Drape98)  has a fully equipped, state of the art workroom just outside of Atlanta- in Marietta, Georgia. The workroom is staffed by skilled seamstresses (and seamsters!) building all types of soft treatments and working alongside seasoned installation professionals. The Drapery Room partners with reliable suppliers of fabric, hardware, and other materials that meet requirements of what her customers have come to expect.  Amy continues to support the design community by sponsoring and providing treatments for several showhouses and as an Industry Partner and board member with ASID- GA. She and The Drapery Room team has been delivering product throughout the southeast for both commercial and residential design projects as well as assisting homeowners with treatments for their 2nd homes along the Florida Panhandle and in other resort areas. The company manages projects all over the country including areas like Los Angeles, Charlotte, Charleston, Nashville and even as far as the Bahamas and the Cayman Islands. The Drapery Room customers include Amy and her team on their projects no matter the size or location because they the want reliable service and product. It’s all about achieving the vision!
